Hiskidz and Deep Blue

This week’s Sunday school lesson is one that many children may not be familiar with. It is about a miracle the prophet Elisha brought about. He helped a woman whose husband had died and left her with unpaid debt. She had nothing, and she was afraid of losing her child. This woman asked for help. Asking for help is something that can be difficult for us to do, but we need to remember that it is OK to ask for help when we need it. Hope to see you Sunday as we learn more about this story.

Planet 456

Last week our lesson was about Thankfulness. We talked about how we should always be thankful no matter what our situation may be. God is at work in all things, and we grow and develop throughout our situations and circumstances. We will NOT meet this Sunday night do to Thanksgiving Holidays, but we will meet back on Sunday, November 25th, for a special Christmas program practice.

“A Day of Christmas Fun” is being planned for the children in Grades 1-6. We will be baking Christmas candy and cookies, making fun Christmas crafts, and visiting the Green Houses to deliver poinsettias and sing. More information about the date and time will be available soon.

Come along, hop on board and join us as we journey together to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to celebrate our Savior’s birth. You never know who God will place in this train on this wonderful night, and how it will unfold. Our children’s choir will present their Christmas musical, ”The Christmas Express” on Sunday, December 2, at 6:00 p.m. They are working hard in preparation for this joyful journey!!!
