Hiskidz and Deep Blue

As we continue to learn about Jesus and his family, this week we will study about the calling of the disciples. These men were asked to leave their own families behind to become part of Jesus’ family. I hope to see you on Sunday, as we learn how Jesus called these men to

Planet 456

This Sunday we will continue with part 3 of our Bible study series called First Impressions. This week’s lesson is on Self-Control. It means the ability to control yourself and your reactions/emotions. If a person has poor self-control, it can leave a bad impression on others. It is important to remember, how YOU do YOU has an impact on how others see YOU! Bible study will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Planet 456 room in the basement. Following Bible study, we will have snack supper at 6:00 p.m. and dismiss by 6:30

Bible Study
Wednesday nights @ 6:15 p.m. in the basement

This Sunday as we continue our 15-week study on the History of the Old Testament, we will be looking at the life of Samuel. Samuel played a very important role in the history of the Israelites and served as a transitional figure of Judges ruling to Kings ruling over Israel. We will get a great overview of the life of Samuel and see his faith and obedience in the Lord.

Sunday Night Youth

Last Sunday night at Bible study, we went off-track and addressed a pertinent topic in our daily lives. This week we will be wrapping up our Be Brave series. We will finish out our game called Fortress by adding level 4 to it. Our winners will be announced this week. Our final lesson in this series is entitled Be Bold. So what does it mean to be bold? It means that you don’t take the easy way out, it means you don’t do what everyone else is doing, it means you take a stand, it means you act on who YOU are! So now, who are you? You are a child of God... BE BOLD!

Wednesday Night Small Group

Small group will meet Wednesday night at 6:15 p.m. in the youth basement. We will continue our Bible study on David: Seeking God’s Heart. Since these sessions are somewhat long, we will be splitting each one into two or more parts. This Wednesday we will continue over the first half of Session 3 entitled “Alone with God.” After David had to flee from Saul and leave his best friend behind, he found himself alone. David grew in his faith and trust in God during this time. We may face times in our lives when it seems we are alone. The one thing we must always remember is that God is always with us.
This Sunday night the youth group will meet at 6 p. m. for supper.  We will conclude our series on, "This crazy teenage life and how to survive it."  Sr. High: 6:30 p. m. & Jr. High: 7 p. m.
Wednesday Nights the youth group is still working theirbway through the book called, "Chew on This."  We meet each Wednesday night at 6 p. m. in the youth room basement.
