Psalm 133:1

Hiskidz and Deep Blue

Our Sunday school lesson this week is the story about a baby boy and his sister. Imagine that an order has been placed by the law that all baby boys must be downed, and your mom just had a baby boy. Would you do all you could to help protect him and hide him? That’s exactly what the sister in our story this week did. I’m sure you already know who this story is about. See you Sunday as we learn more about this story.

Planet 456

This week we will conclude our series called The Power of Words. We have been learning how our words can have an effect on people. We have had a lesson on Gossip, Encouragement, and Crude Language. Our final lesson is entitled Evangelism. The way we speak shows what is in our hearts. Once we have Christ as King, we have a mission. That mission is to spread His message to everyone we can. Let’s do our best to point others toward Christ.

Solid Ground Youth

This week in our Sunday school lesson, we will finish talking about the Kingdom rule of David. Last week we discussed how David became great because the Lord was with him. However, David’s reign was not without conflict. David had many miss-steps and disappointments in his life, but through it all, he was never alone. God was always with him. Hope to see you on Sunday!

Sunday Night Youth

This Sunday night, we will begin a new series in Bible study. This series is called PROVERBS: How to be Wise. Our series begins with Lesson 1, which is entitled “Wisdom.” We will talk about the definition of wisdom from both the dictionary meaning and from the biblical sense. We will also be reading from the book of Proverbs, which contains many wise words to live by.

Wednesday Night Small Group

Small group will resume on Wednesday, October 24. We will dive back into our study of David. We will continue with our session ALONE WITH GOD. David found himself alone, but it was in this time that he cried out to God. He got real with God. We need to learn to take time to be alone with God and talk with Him. . . We need to get real with Him too.

Spring Break Youth Trip:

The spring break youth trip has been planned for this year. The dates will be March 12-March 16. We will be going to Williamstown, KY to view The Ark Encounter, and then travel on to Cincinnati, Ohio to see a different part of the U.S. Detailed information for this trip is available in the Youth Basement for the youth to bring home. Please contact Tera if your youth is planning on attending the Spring Break trip in March. The first payment is due this week. Thank you.

This Sunday night the youth group will meet at 6 p. m. for supper.  We will conclude our series on, "This crazy teenage life and how to survive it."  Sr. High: 6:30 p. m. & Jr. High: 7 p. m.
